Late B-day Dinner

Since Carter was sick Monday night, we did not go eat for his birthday. He wanted Cracker Barrel so that's where we went tonight. Hey, his b-day, his choice :) Sorry the quality of the pics is not that great, but we took them with our phone.

Carter put on his Batman cape and she had to have one as well, so she was Superman. She LOVED it and wore it most of the evening. I thought they looked too cute watching for daddy to get home.

Not so Happy Birthday

This birthday boy spent the night coughing, coughing, coughing his little heart out. He literally coughed every 5 seconds for about 6 hours. I knew that was not normal and the albuteral was not working, so I called the nurse and she heard him and told me to take him to Children's ER. They have free valet parking for the ER, which was SO NICE, especially since it was 11:00 pm and we were alone. I was not expecting what I saw as I walked through the door. A waiting room of about 50 people. Since we had respitory issues we were able to be seen right away. After a steroid, a 45 minute breathing treatment, and multiple oxygen level checks. We left at 2:30am. The doctors we saw were great and so good with Carter. He did very well considering he was EXHAUSTED! Hopefully, he will not have a flare-up that bad again. I HATE it for him and am still hopeful he will eventually grow out of it. A big thank you to my wonderful mother-in-law for coming to get Bentley early this morning so Carter and I could get some rest!!!

Happy 4th Birthday. I truly cannot believe it has been 4 years since you came into our lives. I never knew love like I do until I had you. You are truly a gift from God and we are so thankful he chose us to be your parents.

Unfortunately, Carter is sick today :( So we will celebrate his "special day" another day this week.

Short and Sweet

After Carter's game this morning (which he played very well today :) we went to Jonah's 4th birthday party. Happy Birthday Jonah!



This precious face would not look at the camera, because she was too busy swinging and watching the big kids play and it was waaaaayyyyy past her nap time.



The rest of the pictures are to pick on Marsha, but I can because she knows I love her :) She came to the ballpark and to the party decked out in a dress and heels. If you know Marsha, that is NOT her. It cracked me up that people were asking her why she wore a dress and heels to the ballpark. Well, duh, she had obviously been somewhere beforehand, but I just had to pick on her, because she is most happy in her t-ball mom t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops :)

Bow Board

Bentley was running out of room on the thing that held her bows, so I looked online for bow boards and most of them were around $40 - $50 plus shipping. Most of you know I am not a cheap person, but gimme a break, 1/4 yard of fabric and some ribbon for $50, I dont think so. So, I decided I could make one and I think it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself.



I left her small bows on the other thing and put her larger ones on this.

Fun in the Sun

It was too pretty today to stay inside and also, too hot for the park. Cole stayed with us this afternoon and they wanted to play in the water. We stayed out for about 2 hours and they had a blast.

Please Pray for Sweet Kayleigh

I do not know this family, but they desperatley need all the prayers they can get right now. Their story is truly heartbreaking and I cannot imagine what they are going through, but the more people praying the better!!!

Beach

In one month from today, this is where we will be. (It's not Disney World Marsha and Shelly, but it will do for now :) I LOVE the beach and look forward to going every year. When you live around here its not a question of whether or not you are going, its more like "When are you going?" We have never been in May, but I'm sure it will be nice and not so hot. I'm sure this years picture will look alot different, I can't believe how much the kids have grown, especially Miss. Priss. I can tell you she will look alot slimmer this year...LOL. She has lost about 3 rolls on the thighs, but dont worry, there are still a few more left.

Leannes Lingerie Shower

Last night after a VERY long day of chuch, birthday party, and VBS meeting (hints why I am wearing a VBS t-shirt) we threw Leanne a suprise Lingerie Shower. It was just a few close friends and we had a GREAT time. Angie and Kristin are not in the group, they left right before we took the pic :( I love these girls and can't wait to go through another wedding with all of them :)

Happy Birthday Cash

Yesterday Cash celebrated his 3rd Birthday at Pump It Up. It was a Peter Pan theme, so the kids wore pajamas. Of course they had a great time and Bentley wanted to jump the whole time! (Good thing I had to leave early for a meeting at church, so Joseph was left to handle that one :)

 

Back in Business

Now we are back on track :)Friday night our church held a Crawfish Boil to raise money for medication for the Brazil Mission Trip Joseph is going on this summer. They raised around $3,000!!! I told Carter to stand by Bentley so I could take thier picture. This is what I got...

Troubles

I am sorry I did not post yesterday and it still wont let me upload any pictures today. Not sure what is wrong, but hopefully Joseph can figure it out soon.

Park & A Carter Funny

Today we went to the park with Emily and Blake and the kids had a great time and Stacy and I certainly enjoyed the adult conversation :)(Dont worry, we both felt that our kids could play together, hers have had pink eye, strep, and double ear infections. Both on eye drops and antibiotics :)






Earlier today we went to the mall and I needed to get a lingerie gift for a friend. This is how our conversation went:

C- Why are we in this store with all these boobie things?
M- We are getting a gift.
C- Do you wear these boobie things?
M- Yes, they are called bras.
C- (Closely examines a few then says) Well, your boobies are not as big as these.
M- Yes, I know and thank you for announcing that to everyone in the store.

Gotta love little boys :)

Slime Night

Tonight the Awana kids at church had Slime Night were they were able to slime, put a pie in the face, or silly string the workers. So Carter, Bentley, Marlee and I were there to watch

Ok this post might count as a "missed" day in the photo challenge, but I honestly had nothing picture worthy from the day, so I am posting a website of some really cute t-shirts from this etsy seller. I ordered some for the kids and I love them, they are too cute.

Just Like Their Mommy

We made some brownies the other afternoon and as soon as they were in the oven, both kids were begging to lick the spoon and then Bentley demanded the bowl; too funny and just like me. That's the main reason I like to make sweets so that I can lick the batter. Needless to say, I dont think there is enough to go around...LOL!

We had a wonderful Easter. Great church service, good food, and good times. However, Carter and I ended up at After Hours tonight, he has croup. When it rains it pours and it has certainly poured at our house lately with sickness.
