Rain, Rain GO AWAY!!

We have had so much rain here. I promise it has rained everyday for about a month. I know since Carter's b-day because he has hardly been able to jump on his new trampoline. We haven't been up to much. Monday Kim and Kristin and their families came over and we cooked out and it was YUMMY! There was too much going on so I forgot to take pictures :( Today we went to the McWane Center then had lunch with Joseph. My mom offered to keep the kids tonight so Joseph and I can go out to eat...Thank You Nonna :)

May Beach Trip

We came back a day early from the beach. The first couple of days were nice, but WINDY! By the way, Bentley HATES the wind. She cried and latched on as tight as she could everytime it blew. This was the first time we have ever been in May. It was not crowded until last night and the temperature was great, however, it was windy and the water was COLD. We stayed at Splash in PCB and it was nice. They have a covered water play area for the kids. It's neat because you are out of the weather, but that water was freezing and the kids were a little young for it. Carter would have done more, but it dumps a huge bucket of water every minute and soaks you and he did not like that. We ate good food and of course could not leave without eating at Captain Anderson's, so good. I forgot how expensive it is. It was $100 for us to eat, but worth it :) Carter LOVED every second of it. Bentley was a 1 year old at the beach, so what do you expect...LOL! I enjoyed spending some quality time with my family. They bring so much joy to me and I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed watching Carter have so much fun. My sister-in-law and I are taking the kids back in August while Joseph is in Brazil on his mission trip, so hopefully we will have better weather then.

Not too sure about the Water Bucket

Dancing at Ron Jon's

Still Dancing

My Handsome Man

We found this shovel buried in the sand and he said can I keep it and I said sure...LOL

Beautiful Sunset

I kept calling Bentley a G-ma, because she did not want to take the hood of her cover-up off, because the wind was blowing

Here's the bucket

Here is what it did every minute

Playing in the sand at Pier Park

Carter and I played on the beach while Joseph and Bentley napped

Me and my angels

Daddy and his babies (this shot of Bentley is much more typical of her attitude when I am not holding her)

Bentley's idea of putt-putt - just pick it up and put it in the hole

Carter LOVED it

His favorite thing he did

A Windy Day at the Beach

His face crcaks me up in this pic. The bucket was dumping the water and he did not want to get wet...LOL

This sweet face melts my heart

She finally decided to leave my lap, but only for a minute

I love these two more than anything

I swear this boy is going to be a Garbage Man when he grows up. He is OBSESSED with them. this was the highlight of his day; throwing the trash in the dumpster before we left.

They were so good in the car and decided to hold hands...SWEET

Last Game

T-ball is over for Carter :( He really enjoyed it and I REALLY enjoyed watching him. He had a big crowd there to watch his last game. They had one today, but since we were at the beach he didn't play. They were suppose to have their party afterwards, but since it has done nothing but rain, I don't know if they did or not.

Happy Anniversary

Joseph and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary today. We have been together for 11 years, it doesn't seem possible. We went out Friday night, so we just stayed home with the kids. He did suprise me with a watch that I have been wanting. I asked him what he had done, since he gave me 2 diamond gifts within a week...LOL! He is a wonderful husband and a great dad and I am so blessed that God sent me such a Christian man to set a wonderful example for myself and our children. I love you very much Joseph!!

WOW, What a Weekend

We had a LONG, but fun weekend. Friday night Joseph and I got a babysitter and went to dinner then went to a comedy show that our church had. It was really funny. Saturday morning I went to a VBS workday at church, Ballpark, Jordyn's Birthday Party, then to a wedding that night. This morning we went to watch Jordan get baptized or advertised as Carter kept saying and then spent the afternoon giving Leanne her Bridal Tea. Needless to say, I am worn out!! I am sad to say that I forgot my camera Saturday, but stole a picture from Ashley of Jordyn...

Here are a few pictures from the Tea

Toddler + Muffin = Huge Mess

This sweet angel was perfectly happy pushing this stroller all around the house

I had to get the legs ;)

This was what she was pushing...too funny

This is what happened when I went upstairs to put away the kids laundry. Which means, she opened the muffin, climbed on the couch and did this ALL by herself!

End of the Year Party

Carter had his End of the Year Party today where they jumped in inflatables and ate pizza. He has had a great year and we have LOVED having Ms. Jo. Carter has learned so much this year!! I know he will miss all of his friends this summer, especially Marlee Grace. Of course they will still see each other, just not 4 days a week like they are use to:)

Praying...

Kayleigh Freeman (who I mentioned a few posts back) has gone to be with the Lord. The pictures and words from her family are truly heartbreaking. I just cried and cried when I saw all of that. PLEASE say a special prayer for them as they say goodbye for now to their sweet angel.

Happy Mother's Day

I hope all of the mommies out there had a WONDERFUL day. Being a mommy is truly the greatest joy and I can assure you that not a day goes by that I don't think God for the opportunity he gave us :) Josephs' parents came over after church and we had fillets and all the sides then tonight we went to my parents and grilled out again. I went and got my toes done this afternoon and enjoyed some time away. As you can from the pictures, our attempts of a photo didn't go so well....

"The kids" gave me a diamond necklace that I have been wanting, I think you can see it in one of the pictures. I gave his mom and my mom these, and they LOVED them.
