Paige and Steve's Wedding

Last night Josephs cousin Paige and my friend Trishas brother, Steve, got married. They wanted to get married on Alabamas off weekend, but not on Halloween, so they got married on a Friday. Paige asked me to direct the wedding, which is a first for me, but I enjoyed doing it and felt honored that she asked. Even though she said I was bossy and thought I would be good at it...LOL.

Carter and Jordan (the reason he wanted to go with us)

Bride's Cake

He had a WONDERFUL assortment of cakes and cheesecakes

Best pic I could get :(

School Party

Yesterday was Carter's Halloween party at school. They all had a great time and were most excited about getting to wear their costumes. They had Happy Meals and pumpkin cookies. I read them the book The Scarecrow and the Spider and then they made paper scarecrows.

His 4K class. (there are only 8 kids in his class and I LOVE that)

These 2 were very good while watching their siblings celebrate

Me and "Spiderman" (When he is in costume, he wont let you call him Carter)

Enjoying Pumpkin Cookies

Carter's Scarecrow...arent they cute?

McWane Center

Wednesday, Marlee Grace stayed with us while Marsha went on a field trip with Tyler. I decided I would try to make their day educational since they were both "skipping" school. We went to the McWane Center and they all had a great time and were very good. Guess they worked up an appetite, because afterwards we met Joseph at the mall and ate lunch in the foodcourt where Carter and MG both ate a whole slice of Sabarro pizza and a cookie from the cookie company.

MG and Bentley loved playing with this

This is Carter's Favorite

Bentley was happily digging for fossils until she saw Carter and MG

They really got into the role

They all loved musical squares

Baby Lilli

Some of our best friends, Kim and Keith, welcomed their second daughter into the world Friday morning. She is so tiny and precious. I can't wait to hold her again soon.

Pumpkin Carving

Tonight we carved our pumpkins. I should say Joseph, because he did all of the work :) Carter wanted Pluto and Bentley wanted "Mimi". I thought they turned out so cute.

Baby Shower

Yesterday I helped throw a baby shower for my sister-in-law. She is having a little girl around the first of December. We are so excited to welcome Emerson Elaine into our family. I was the ONLY girl in my family so the fact that we keep adding girls is WONDERFUL :)

Precious Margaret Anne (my cousins daughter)

I thought the cake was so cute

Boo at the Zoo

Friday night my parents took Carter and my nephew Camden to Boo at the Zoo. Mom said Carter had fun, but Camden was scared of everything and hardly let my dad put him down. I assume thats why he's not looking at the camera in any of the pics, because he was too concerned with his surroundings. Mom tried to get Camden to get his picture with Aubie and he said "I like Aubie Nonna, he's a good guy, but I dont want to take a pic with him." LOL, I thought that was so funny.

Fall Ball

Carter has been playing Fall Ball for the past 2 months and I have just been a blog slacker and not updated :) He has loved it, but I must say I am ready for a break. He practices 2 nights a week for 2 hours. That's a LONG time for a 4 year old. Joseph is coaching again and he is more ready than I am for a break. His last game is Thursday.

Pumpkin Patch

It is a beautiful day and Carter had a slight fever last night, so I kept him home just to be safe. He hasn't had one today, so hopefully it is over. I decided it was too pretty to sit inside and since Carter missed his class Pumpkin Patch trip I decided to take the kids today. They were wonderful and a had great time. However, it took Miss. Priss a while to warm up, then she didn't want to leave.

Carter was excited and actually let me take his picture

Bentley was not too sure

Nope, not feelin it

Lovin the Slide that he did about 100 times

Cheese

She wanted NOTHING to do with the inflatables, but kept checking to make sure he was coming

She would have sat on this swing all day

Carter found a perfect pumpkin for Bentley

She LOVED it

and wouldn't put it down

True Love

The lovebirds reunited yesterday for a playdate. Marlee Grace (MG) came to watch Carter play ball Sunday afternoon and his Granny told me he was on Cloud 9 while she was there. He hit the ball and took off running. After rounding the bases, he discovered his true love had disappeared. WELL, that's all it took and Joseph said he was downhill from there. Cried the whole way home for her and most of the night. I was not at the game, because I was at a baby shower. I called Marsha that night and asked if they could play. So, yesterday morning we went and picked her up. They were both SOOOO excited. As soon as we got here they went upstairs to the playroom and came down sporting these outfits.

I know this picture makes her parents proud. They are HUGE Auburn fans!! She told me her mommy would be mad at her, but she was wearing it for Carter. (True Love) Here they are bottomless in the candy basket after deciding it would be fun to jump on the trampoline in the rain. (They snuck out there while I was laying Bentley down)

They do not go to school together this year and it breaks my heart for them, but they pick up right where they left off evrytime. Wednesday nights at church, they NEVER seperate, not for 1 second. They hold hands and do whatever the other wants to do. (Usually Carter follows MG commands :)I'm so thankful for thier friendship!

Weekend with Best Friends

Friday night, we all got together because Jennifer was in town, so we all went to Kims to eat and play our yearly birthday version of Dirty Santa, where I came home with a CUTE scarf and necklace :) However, the biggest suprise of the night,Jennifer announced that she is ENGAGED!! Her ring is to die for...BEAUTIFUL! Saturday afternoon, we all got together again to watch the Alabama game. This time I wore my only Bama shirt, because a few weeks ago when we got together everyone was decked out in their "gear" and I was the only one who wasn't, well this time it was just me and Kim. (She looks much cuter in hers, with little baby Lilly in her belly, who will be here anyday now :)BTW- Jennifer is holding her dog under the blanket, hiding her from the kids her tortured her all afternoon...LOL

Carter trying on Jay's real helmet

These precious girlies played baby dolls, colored, and chased the dogs around all afternoon.

These two had a ball together and Carter would not smile, just insisted on this nice face
