We ventured out to the fair with my parents, Jay and Trisha, and Kim and Keith. Bentley was too small to ride anything, but she LOVED the monkeys that rode on the dogs backs. They had fun even though that place is a total money pit.

I had the kids pictures taken this summer and thought I would share some them. They turned out BEAUTIFUL! Obviously not the best quality on here, but trust me, they look great.





Bentley's picture is on a canvas wrap to match the colors in the den. It has a 3D type effect where the picture is raised off the wrap. Sounds confusing, but looks great.

Roll Tide!

We took Carter to the Alabama game yesterday, despite the rainy weather. It rained on us the whole way there, but as soon as we got there, it never rained another drop. However, it was HOT and HUMID and my clothing and hair reflect it :) He had a great time and loved watching the players, the band, and Big Al. After the pre-game show, he looked and me and said, "where did those baton girls go?" (LOL) We are going next weekend with Jay and Trisha, so hopefully we will have better weather.

Carter's First Day of 4K

Carter started 4K today and said he had a good day. Being a boy, I dont really get much, so I have all the questions to get SOME answers :) He really likes his teacher and she has been teching 4 year olds for 19 years. Can you believe that? She obviously loves what she does, so I am hoping he learns a lot this year. I was going to send to Bentley to MDO 2 days a week, but pulled her out #1 because I felt bad, Carter did not start until he was 2 1/2 and #2 because of all the sickness going around. She will get sick enough from what Carter brings home. She and I spent the day running errands and she was SO GOOD. Does Carter really make that much a difference??? LOL.

One of my best friends Kim, is having her second little girl in October, so we threw her a shower Sunday afternoon.

I forgot to blog about Carter's swim lessons. He took them for 2 weeks in July and all I can say is WOW! He is a different child in the water now. He can swim from one end of the pool to the other and even swim underwater. However, he does not choose to swim that way, he likes being out of the water. The picture above is him showing off his skills at Tyler's birthday party. Of course, he thinks the Batman googles are a neccesity.
